Hanne Blank is a writer, historian, and public speaker who specializes in
topics of sexuality and the body. Her most recent book, Virgin: The
Untouched History (Bloomsbury USA, 2007), represents the first general
history of the subject of virginity in Western culture, and has been lauded
by Publishers Weekly as "thoroughly researched, carefully argued and
written with a sly sense of humor...a bright addition to the popular
literature of women's and cultural studies." Currently at work on a history
of heterosexuality, she lives in Baltimore, Maryland.

Paula Kamen is the author of
Her Way: Young Women Remake the Sexual Revolution, the first large-scale journalistic
report on postboomer women's sexual attitudes. She is also the author of what is noted as the first
Third Wave feminist book, Feminist Fatale: Voices
from the Twentysomething Generation Explore the Future of
the Women s Movement, as well as the play, Jane: Abortion and the
Underground. A Chicago-based journalist, her work has appeared in the
New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune and about a dozen

Julie Kay, a
staff attorney at Legal Momentum, works on the Sexuality and Family Rights Project where
her charge is challenging gender bias and sex discrimination promoted
by a federal Abstinence-Only sexual education program. Prior to this, she worked as an
attorney with the Irish Family Planning Association (IFPA). Her
responsibilities included designing and filing a case at the European
Court of Human Rights on behalf of women who had been deprived of their
human rights by Ireland's abortion ban. Julie was
graduated with a B.A. in Women's Studies and Social Studies from

Bronwen Pardes is a sexual health
educator who has taught sexuality education to middle school, high school and college students.
She is an alumna of Vassar College and New York University's graduate program in human sexuality. Her first book, Doing It Right: Making Smart, Safe and Satisfying Choices About Sex is geared towards
teenagers and will be published in March of 2007. She currently works as an HIV counselor at a major
New York City hospital.
Stephanie St. Pierre
is the President of St. Pierre Group of New York, Inc., a management consulting firm
focusing on issues related to health promotion, disease prevention
and public health research. She received her Masters in Public
Health from Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health
and her Masters in Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in New
York City. Ms. St. Pierre is also the co-producer of the Trixie Films documentary I Was A Teenage Feminist.
